Questions

Is LogTrace a hosted dashboard?

No. LogTrace is designed as a local-first desktop app with a local database.

Will there be a free plan?

Yes. Personal and hobby use is free. Commercial use requires a paid license.

Are AI provider costs included?

No. AI analysis uses your own provider keys, so OpenAI, Claude, or Gemini usage is billed by those providers.

How are commercial licenses activated?

Commercial licenses are activated against a hardware ID. License metadata is stored locally, and the license key is stored through OS secure storage when available.
